The Parish of Sacred Heart in Zhongli celebrated its patron feast on June 9th (Sunday). There was a chinese Mass at 8:30 am with a great number of faithful present.  Representatives of the different communities as Filipino, Vitnamese with their traditional customs present the offerings. At the end of the Mass started the procession with the Blessed Sacrament, celebrating the sacrament and signifying God’s presence in our world and in our lives and reminding us of our common pilgrimage to Heaven, is a prayerful and edifying act of the entire Church. During the Eucharistic procession the children accompany Our Lord  with flowers and candles while the entire procession flutter the Sacred Heart Pennants. There were four benedictions,  three at the courners arround and the last one in the front of he Church.  At the end of the benediction we celebrate our patron feast with performance of the different groups of the Parish. The children of the catechism  dance a Filipino Duck Dance and sing. The Filipino grope performance a beautiful typical dance. The Vitnamese and Chinese groups delight everyone with their songs. Everybody share a dish making the feast of the Sacred Heart a memorable day.
