profession of perpetual vows in Taiwan 2017

Our first two Taiwanese sisters, Sr. Baoxi and Sr. Daosheng, professed their perpetual vows on October 15, 2017. The Holy Mass was presided over by His Excellency Martin Yao-Wen SU, Bishop of Taichung; and was concelebrated by 4 priests, among them 2 are our IVE missionary priests in Taiwan (Fr. Lucio Flores and Fr. Michael Zhang) and 2 diocesan priests. About 600 people participated the Holy Mass and the celebration followed. This was a day of great joy for the whole Church and particularly the Church in Taiwan, since they are the very first vocations from our mission in Taiwan, and both came from Taichong diocese. Sr. Daosheng was formerly a faithful of the Parish of Incarnate Word since she was a child, which has been taken care by Fr. Lucio for more than 20 years. She is currently a missionary in the same parish. Sr. Baoxi (which means Annunciation in Chinese) is currently a missionary in Spain. Let us give thanks to the Lord for His work of wonder in calling souls to His intimate love and be His Spouses for all eternity. For More Pictures
